One team, four therapies, three clinics

Children rarely need help in only one area. A child who is not talking may also struggle with textures at mealtimes; a child with big behaviors may also be behind on motor skills. Having ABA, speech, occupational and physical therapy under one roof means the people working with your child can actually talk to each other — and you are not driving across the county to four different providers.

Choose the therapy you are looking for

  • Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) — for autism and challenging behavior: communication, daily living skills, social skills and safety.
  • Speech & Language Therapy — for late talkers, unclear speech, understanding language, AAC and feeding.
  • Occupational Therapy — for sensory processing, fine motor skills, handwriting, dressing and mealtimes.
  • Physical Therapy — for motor milestones, strength, balance, gait and mobility.

Where we serve families

  • Brandon, FL — 350 E Bloomingdale Ave, Brandon, FL 33511. Also serving Riverview, Valrico, Seffner, Lithia and the Tampa area.
  • Lakeland, FL — 2019 E Edgewood Dr, Suite 130, Lakeland, FL 33803. Also serving Bartow, Plant City, Mulberry and Highland City.
  • Winter Haven, FL — 1134 1st St S, Winter Haven, FL 33880. Also serving Auburndale, Haines City, Lake Alfred and Dundee.

Center, school, daycare or home

Therapy follows the child, not the building. Based on clinical needs and the particular situation of each family, ABA can be delivered in our centers — which offer a little over 2,000 square feet of therapy areas on average — in private and public schools, at daycare, or at home whenever the conditions for safe and effective sessions are in place. Your BCBA recommends the setting during the assessment, and many families end up combining two of them.

How to get started

Call (813) 655-8159 or send us a message. Tell us what you are seeing and which insurance you have; we will verify your benefits and explain your options before you commit to anything. We have no waitlist.

Coverage, hours and starting without a waitlist

We accept Simply Healthcare, TriCare, Humana, Sunshine Health, Sunshine Health CMS, Florida KidCare, Step Up For Students, Ambetter and Molina Healthcare for therapy, plus private pay. Children’s Medical Services members move from Sunshine Health to Molina Healthcare on October 1, 2026; we accept both, so treatment continues without a gap. The full list is on our insurance we accept page, and we run the benefits check for you before you commit to anything.

All three clinics — Brandon, Lakeland and Winter Haven — are open Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and there is no waitlist. Call (813) 655-8159 during business hours and a real person will answer; we are a family working for families, and this October we complete five years of doing it.

Do I have to wait months to start therapy?

No. Hopeful Therapies does not keep a waitlist. Once benefits are verified and the plan authorizes the assessment, we schedule you — typically within days.

Can my child receive more than one therapy at the same time?

Yes, and it is usually the better choice. ABA, speech-language, occupational and physical therapy are delivered by one coordinated team sharing a single treatment plan, which is the fastest path to reaching therapeutic goals.

A credentialed, coordinated team

Your child’s therapists work alongside our Board Certified Behavior Analysts, so ABA, speech, occupational and physical therapy goals reinforce each other instead of competing. Combining all of the therapies a child needs under one roof is the main reason our families reach their therapeutic goals faster. See our leadership and clinical team.
